From the Ever More Distant Stars - Light Awakening and Night of Splendour

These two compositions, published as Expanding Space II, do not differ from The Naiads either in purpose or in terms of their tonal universe.

On the tape sleeve, Jes Bertelsen writes as follows:

From the Ever More Distant Stars maintains more or less the same tonal universe for half an hour, though there is a shift about half way through. Listen to the two samples, one from the beginning - glistening, expanding, in combination with a slow descent

- the other from the second half, which is more restrained.

The tonal universe in Night of Splendour is of another kind - more violent, perhaps. Listen to a sample from about two minutes into the piece.
